Where can I complete my Intermediate Scaffolding Ticket in Brisbane?

Shamrock Training offers Intermediate Scaffolding training in Brisbane for students who are ready to progress beyond Basic Scaffolding. The course covers the nationally recognised unit CPCCLSF3001 and includes both classroom learning and practical assessment.

What are the prerequisites for the Intermediate Scaffolding course?

To enrol in Intermediate Scaffolding, you must have completed Basic Scaffolding or hold a valid SB licence. Students also need to be 18 years or older, have basic English literacy skills, and provide the required evidence of identity before assessment.

What extra skills does Intermediate Scaffolding cover compared to Basic?

Intermediate Scaffolding builds on Basic Scaffolding by covering more advanced scaffolding work, including cantilevered crane loading platforms, cantilevered and spurred scaffolds, barrow ramps, sloping platforms, perimeter safety screens, shutters, mast climbers, and tube and coupler scaffolding systems.

Can I progress to Advanced Scaffolding after completing Intermediate?

Yes. Intermediate Scaffolding is the required pathway before enrolling in Advanced Scaffolding. Once you successfully complete the Intermediate Scaffolding course and hold the required licence, you can move on to the advanced level.

Is there a licence application fee after the course?

Yes. After successfully completing your assessment, you will need to apply directly to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for your licence. A separate government application fee applies, and your application must be submitted within the required timeframe after assessment.
