Shamrock Training offers EWP Under 11m training in Brisbane for students who need to operate scissor lifts and boom-type elevated work platforms under 11 metres. Training is delivered with a mix of theory and practical learning, with workplace delivery available for eligible groups.

The EWP Under 11m course covers the safe operation of scissor lifts and boom-type elevating work platforms with a boom length under 11 metres. Students learn about hazard identification, safety requirements, equipment checks, operating procedures and practical use of the machinery.

A Yellow Card is an industry accreditation issued through the Elevating Work Platform Association. A nationally recognised unit, such as RIIHAN301E, is formal training recognised under the Australian Skills Framework. For many worksites and employers, a nationally recognised unit can provide stronger proof of competency.

A High Risk Work Licence is generally not required for boom-type EWPs or scissor lifts under 11 metres. However, many employers and worksites require operators to hold recognised training, such as RIIHAN301E, before allowing unsupervised operation.

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIHAN301E. This can be used as evidence of competency for employers, supervisors and worksites that require EWP Under 11m training.
