Shamrock Training offers Excavator training in Brisbane for students who need to operate excavators safely across civil construction, earthmoving, roadworks and general worksites. The course covers the nationally recognised unit RIIMPO320F and includes both theory and practical training.

The Excavator course teaches students how to plan and prepare for excavator operations, complete pre-start checks, operate the machine safely, carry out trenching, grading and loading tasks, work around underground services, and complete post-operational shutdown procedures.

A High Risk Work Licence is generally not required to operate an excavator. However, many employers and worksites require recognised training, such as RIIMPO320F, before allowing unsupervised operation.
