COURSE DETAILS
Shamrock Training offers Telehandler training in Brisbane for students who need to safely operate a telescopic materials handler across construction, civil, mining and industrial sites. The course covers the nationally recognised unit RIIHAN309F and includes both theory and practical training.
The Telehandler course teaches students how to plan and prepare for telehandler operations, complete pre-start and post-operational checks, select and use attachments, operate the machine safely, and carry out shutdown, maintenance and storage procedures.
A High Risk Work Licence is generally not required to operate a standard telehandler. However, many employers and worksites require operators to hold recognised training, such as RIIHAN309F, before allowing unsupervised operation.
Yes. Verification of Competency may be available for operators who already have telehandler experience and need to confirm their skills for an employer, contractor or worksite requirement. Contact Shamrock Training to check eligibility and availability.
After successfully completing the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIHAN309F. This can be used as evidence of competency for employers, supervisors and worksites that require telehandler training.
